[Grid2d] Cellgrid to small :(
« on: February 10, 2019, 03:29:04 PM »
Hey, i just bought the Grid2d thingy, and its fun to play with =)

I mostly bought it for the Irregular/Voronoi feature.

But i ran into a problem with the Irregular/Voronoi cells now, the problem is that the grid mesh is being created very small.
When i try to scale it, then there are gaps between the cells, the same occurs when i put the size of the orto cam down.
seems like its a float precision issue :(
any ideas?

Hi,
Can you show the settings you use for that scene?
How many cells? Also try using a bigger transform scale, like 500x500x1.

its 5000 cells, the transform scale i tried was 20,20,1 (or when the transform is 1,1,1 and the ortho cam is 0.1)

Confirmed. It's a precision issue - fortunately it does not occur in Terrain Grid System (providing the same features in this area). It will be fixed asap. I'll get back to this thread when a new beta is ready.

Fixed in latest beta (you should be able to download latest package from the beta board).
