Highlight Oversized When with WMSK
« on: January 10, 2019, 10:36:41 PM »
I love the new Highlight Plus asset, but I am having some trouble when trying to use it with units on a WMSK map. In particular, the highlight is significantly too big big (the head happens to be missing too - but I might be able to solve that bit). I have attached an image of the result.

Just so you know, my script does not alter the scale of the units when instantiating the prefabs.
Within the WMSK editor, the Unit Scale Multiplier is set to 1.

Have any idea what might be happening?

Quick update:

I just noticed that the outline is the correct size when I am completely zoomed out, but when zooming in, the outlines grow much more quickly than the units.

Hi,

Are you using latest version of Highlight Plus?
I've checked the Map Population using HP on the tank. In DropTank method I add:

Code
tank.gameObject.AddComponent<HighlightPlus.HighlightTrigger>();

And scale is preserved correctly.
Could you send me your prefab (including meshes and materials) for your unit and how are you adding it to the map?

Thanks

Sorry about the delay.
I just updated to the latest version and everything seems to be working fine now! :)
Thanks.
