Global snow on Character setup
« on: February 14, 2020, 07:47:49 AM »
Hi,

I am just wondering if we can exclude some materials from the snow coverage or choose the angle to limit the coverage on a character.
For example,I have a clown that start laughing and bend his whole body back. But when bending the slope of the clown change and there is snow appearing and disappearing depending of the angle slope
the clown is bending. I could also exclude the clown layer from the coverage but then I don't have any snow on the clown.

Thanks for you help!

Yes, you can use transparent material (with alpha = 1 to make them look opaque). Transparent materials runs in forward render path / transparent queue and will be ignored by Global Snow.
