VFM Additive fog
« on: December 07, 2019, 05:34:29 PM »
Hey,

In my trials to get VFM working seamlessly with Aura2, I got much more pleasing visual results by switching VFM to an additive mode:

At the end of VolumetricFog.cginc:

 // [AS] Force additive VFM fog
 // color.rgb = color.rgb * saturate(1.0 - sum.a) + sum.rgb;
 color.rgb += sum.rgb;

You may wish to consider that as another parameter setting perhaps
(In the regular mode, VFM and Aura2 just didn't want to blend their fogs nicely)
