ParentAndAlignTile issue(s)
« on: May 30, 2020, 02:51:40 AM »
A small bug I found in Hexasphere; the ParentAndAlignTile() method requires the target gameObject to have a Renderer component in its root (line 219 in HexasphereTools.cs), and throws an error if it doesn't.
The gameObject I'm aligning has all its graphics in a separate gameObject container within, which made me encounter this error. I changed the GetComponent call to GetComponentInChildren for now.

Also, would be great if the method also allowed me to invert the Z axis when aligning. Right now the Z axis is pointing inwards whenever I'm aligning gameobjects, which can be less than ideal sometimes. It's no biggie for me change this behaviour myself, but yeah, will definitely be using this addon more in the future, so would be cool to have this tweak already in there.

Love Hexasphere, btw. Really well made and documented. Worth every cent.

The first change is applied so next update will account for children renderer.
I'm not sure to understand what you mean by inverting the Z Axis. Perhaps you can post the code you'd change in that method?
